Best Super Bowl Chicken Wings
Football and chicken wings go hand in hand, so I always put them at the top of my game day menu! I know I’m not the only one–a report from the National Chicken Council last year said Americans would consume well over 1 billion chicken wings on Super Bowl Sunday! I definitely contributed my part to that number, and I plan to keep it up this year.
I have so many easy chicken wing recipes for Super Bowl parties, I can hardly choose which ones to make. Buffalo wings are hard to beat while watching the big game, but I can’t skip my favorite garlic parm wings either…I guess I’ll just make them all!

Buffalo Wings Galore
No matter how you like your buffalo wings or how you prefer to cook them, there’s an easy way to make some saucy hot wings for the Super Bowl.
- Buffalo Wings: For the most classic option, go for these deep-fried wings. It’s actually a pretty easy process, and it creates the crispiest, most flavorful skin!
- Boneless Wings: These “wings” are all meat and no bones! Coated in a homemade buffalo sauce, these bites of chicken are always a hit.
- Crockpot Chicken Wings: I added some BBQ to these slow cooker buffalo wings to make them extra delicious for game day!
- Instant Pot Buffalo Wings: Wings in just 15 minutes? Yes, this recipe is for the procrastinators. Or for hungry crowds who fly through the other wings before the half-time show.
- Air Fryer Buffalo Wings: If I can’t deal with the extra step of frying in oil, the crispiness of air-frying is the next best option!

Sauce–y Chicken Wings
Hot, garlicky, spicy, sweet? No matter what flavor I’m craving, these finger-lickin’ good chicken wings with an array of tasty sauces are a game day win!
- Lemon Pepper Wings: Bright and zesty with a peppery kick, this wing sauce is undeniably delicious.
- Garlic Parmesan Wings: Garlic parm has always been my favorite wing flavor, so I’m definitely going to make a double batch for the Super Bowl. I’m not going to risk running out!
- Hot Honey Chicken Wings: Hot, sweet, and buttery…need I say more? These wings go down nice and smooth with a few game day beers.
- Garlic Herb Baked Wings: I’m obsessed with how crispy these chicken wings get in the oven, and the garlic herb glaze smells soooo good while they’re cooking.
- Sweet Chili Chicken Wings: I love sweet chili sauce because it really is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy–which means it’s the perfect sauce for wings!
- Baked Korean Wings: This Korean-style BBQ sauce with gochujang gives chicken wings the most delicious flavor.

Crispy Air-fried Wings
I love making my favorite chicken wing recipes in my Air Fryer for Super Bowl Sunday, because it’s super easy to keep fresh and crispy batches coming through the whole game.
- Honey Buffalo Wings: A bit of honey adds a sweet twist to typical buffalo wings, and I love how the sauce glazes the wings fresh out of the fryer.
- Air Fryer Garlic Parm Wings: Making my favorite chicken wing flavor in my Air Fryer adds the extra benefit of crisp, almost-fried skin.
- Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings: I use my same zesty, peppery sauce to make these wings in the Air Fryer too.
- Pickle Brined Chicken Wings: Pickle juice marinates the meat to create the most tender wings you’ll ever taste. And the tangy, sweet, and herb-y sauce is so uniquely tasty!
- Air Fryer Hot Honey Chicken Wings: Guajillo chiles give this wing sauce a medium-level heat with a sweet finish. Everyone will devour these!

Sneak in a Few Drumsticks
Okay, these may not be chicken wings, but meaty drumsticks coated in the most delicious sauces hit all the same. While cheering on the best team, no one will blink twice when they grab one of these off the wing platter.
- Instant Pot Drumsticks: It only takes 20 minutes to get super juicy drumsticks ready to toss in your favorite sauce.
- Baked Teriyaki Drumsticks: The teriyaki sauce has a kick of heat thanks to the Sriracha, and it really makes these drumsticks irresistible!
- Honey Soy Drumsticks: These sweet and sticky drumsticks are the definition of finger-lickin’ good…you really will be licking your fingers clean!
- Crockpot BBQ Drumsticks: Easy to make and slathered in a homemade barbecue sauce, these drumsticks were made for Super Bowl Sunday!
Now that I’ve got all my wing recipes in order for the Super Bowl, I’m more excited than ever for the big game! Who will you be cheering for this year?
