Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings in an Air Fryer
Lemon pepper wings are one of my favorite flavors of wings, so simple but super delicious! They are so easy to make at home and make for a real crowd pleasing appetizer.

How to make Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

- Toss the wings in the seasonings and oil and place in the fridge.
- Preheat the air fryer.
- Add the wings to the air fryer basket and cook, flipping every 6 minutes.
- Cook through and serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.


How to reheat
Things wings are best served as soon as they are cooked, but the good news is, is that you can easily reheat them quickly in the air fryer and they’ll get nice and crispy, like they’ve been freshly cooked.
The cooked wings will keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days. To reheat, preheat he air fryer to 360F and cook for 4 minutes, then, turn the heat to 400F and cook for another 5 minutes.
How long can you marinate them?
Wings don’t need long to marinate at all, and if you marinate them for too long, they can start to become a little mushy. The marinade will do it’s job in 10 minutes, but you can leave them for up to 2 hours if needed.
What do you serve them with?
These air fryer lemon pepper wings are great to serve as an appetizer with ranch or blue cheese sauce and carrot and celery sticks. You can also serve them up as a fuller meal with salad and fries. However you eat them, enjoy!

- Prepare the Air Fryer Basket with olive oil cooking spray.
- Don’t over load the basket with the wings. To get them nice and crispy, they need to be placed in a single layer. Cook in two batches if needed.

Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken wings
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Add the chicken wings to a large sealable plastic storage bag.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the wings and pour the seasonings into the bag. Seal the bag without removing the excess air.
- Toss the bag of wings to coat them evenly. Place into the refrigerator to chill while preheating the Air Fryer.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add the wings in a single layer to the bottom of the prepared air fryer basket. Cook for 18 minutes at 360, tossing the wings every 6 minutes. Increase the temperature to 390 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 2 minutes. Total cook time is 20 minutes or until the wings are fully cooked.
- Remove from the Air Fryer and squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the wings before serving.
Notes
- Serve with a salad and your favorite wing sauce.
