This crispy Dorito chicken is one of my favorite easy ways to dress up chicken breasts. Made with just 6 ingredients, this cool ranch chicken recipe is quick, easy, and packs a punch of flavor! My kiddos love this fun twist on their favorite snack food!

Dorito Crusted Chicken
My kids love Cool Ranch Doritos, so making them into a fun dinner was a no-brainer for me. This Dorito chicken was so easy to make! I just crushed up some chips, coated the chicken, and baked it to crispy perfection in the oven. The flavor turned out so good, and the texture was even better!

How to Store and Reheat
Store leftover Dorito crusted chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes, or until warmed through.
How to Freeze
Freeze cool ranch chicken in an airtight container or Ziplock bag for up to 3 months. Let thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.

Notes and Tips
- I love cool ranch Doritos, but any flavor will work equally well. For a plain version, I like to use plain crushed tortilla chips as well.
- I prefer to make this recipe with chicken breasts, but you can use thighs or tenders. Just be aware that the cooking time may vary.

Dorito Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 3½ cups Cool Ranch Doritos
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ⅓ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place the Doritos into a Ziplock bag, seal, and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin.3½ cups Cool Ranch Doritos
- In a small bowl, add the mayo, sour cream, minced garlic, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.1 cup mayonnaise, ½ cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, ⅓ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
- Set up a dredging station for the chicken. Place a bowl with crushed Doritos next to the bowl with the mayo mixture.
- Dab a paper towel on the chicken breast to make sure it is dry so everything will stick well. Season both sides of the chicken with sea salt.4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1 teaspoon sea salt
- Dip the chicken into the mayo bowl, evenly coating all sides. Then, dip the chicken into the bowl with crushed Doritos. Turn over the chicken and thoroughly cover with Doritos.
- Place chicken into an oven-safe baking dish and bake uncovered in the oven for 40 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve immediately and enjoy!

How much parmesan do you need for this recipe? In the ingredients it doesn’t list parmesan. Only in the instructions.
