How to Store and Reheat
These are great for meal prep! Let them cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the fridge. They will keep well for up to 4 days and can be used to top salads or sliced for sandwiches for easy lunches.
How to Freeze
If you really want to get ahead of things, once the chicken breasts are cooled, you can freeze them for up to 3 to 4 months.
Thaw the chicken in the fridge before reheating and it can be reheated in the oven at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or cut up and warmed through in sauces, soups and chilis.
Serving Suggestions
You can shred the chicken and add it to soups, stews and chilis. It’s also pretty great to have when you want to add protein to a salad or sandwich. Really, there’s no limit to what you can use a perfectly cooked chicken breast for!

Notes

- The chicken was cooked nicely at 8 minutes. However, if you’re planning to shred, I prefer 12 minute cook time.
- If using frozen chicken breasts, ensure that they are fully defrosted before seasoning and cooking.
- Mix up your seasonings! I used a simple seasoning blend, but you can use your favorite herbs and spices.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute.
