Sweet and savory Air Fryer Honey Buffalo Chicken Wings always impress! Air fried to perfection, these crisp yet juicy wings are a delicious addition to any game day spread.
Add the chicken wing portions, flour, garlic powder, and salt to a large bowl and toss to combine.
1 pound chicken wing portions, ½ cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon kosher salt
Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray (or brush it with olive oil) and add the chicken wings in a single layer. Try not to overcrowd the basket or they won’t get crispy.
Spray the top of the wings with olive oil spray and cook for 8 minutes at 400°F.
Flip over the chicken wings and cook for an additional 8 minutes.
Remove the wings from the air fryer and set them aside while you make the sauce.
For the Honey Buffalo Sauce:
In a small microwave safe bowl, combine the hot sauce, honey, and butter.
½ cup hot sauce, ¼ cup honey, 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Microwave on high for 1 minute. Whisk to combine. If the butter is not fully melted, heat for an additional 30 seconds.
Pour the sauce over the wings and serve immediately.
Notes
Storage: Wings are best enjoyed the day they’re made! I don’t recommend storing chicken wings as they lose their crispness in the refrigerator.
