Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan is a healthier take on the classic Italian dish. Golden crispy chicken, smothered in a delicious marinara sauce, topped with melty mozzarella.
Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness, then cut in half to create 4 pieces.
2 chicken breasts
Combine parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
½ cup parmesan cheese, 1 cup Italian bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Whisk eggs together in a separate bowl.

Coat chicken in the egg mixture.
Dredge chicken in the bread crumb mixture and coat well, ensuring chicken is fully covered on all sides.
Preheat the Air Fryer to 350℉ for 4-5 minutes.
Line with paper, or use non stick cooking spray, then place the chicken in the Air Fryer basket.
Air Fry chicken for a total of 6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the Air Fryer and scoop 1 tbsp of marinara on each chicken piece. Then top each piece with 2 tbsp of mozzarella cheese. Place the basket back into the Air Fryer and cook for an additional 4 minutes.
4 tablespoons marinara sauce, ½ cup mozzarella cheese
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with pasta or your favorite sides.

Be sure to pre-heat your Air Fryer.
Line your air fryer tray with parchment paper, or use non stick spray.
As well as serving on pasta etc, you can slice up the cooked chicken and serve on a salad, or reheat the chicken parmesan with extra cheese and serve on a bun.
Storage: Store Air Fryer chicken parmesan in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days, or freeze for 3 months.
