2Cupscooked chicken breastdiced (approximately 2 6 oz chicken breasts)
1Cupcooked bacondiced (approximately 8 slices)
1Cupred pepperdiced
½Cupgreen onionsliced
4ozcheddar cheesediced small
¼Cupfresh dillchopped
1Cupranch dressing
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process and wash away excess starch.
In a large bowl, mix the pasta, chicken, bacon, red pepper, green onion, cheese, and dill.
Add the ranch dressing and mix well.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

This salad can be served right away, no need to wait for the flavors to develop.This salad will keep for about 3 days if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.I simply used left over chicken breast from dinner the night before, simply seasoned with salt and pepper, but this could be made with left over BBQ chicken or even a rotisserie chicken.This makes a very large bowl of pasta salad, perfect for a pot luck or family gathering. It would be easy to scale the recipe down for smaller meals. I used Hidden Valley ranch dressing.
