This chicken nugget pizza is made from scratch and is a perfect family friendly meal. This homemade pizza takes just 15 minutes to prep and it's loaded with flavor!
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add warm water and dry yeast. Mix it with a fork. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy
Add in the flour, sugar and salt and mix with a fork until well combined. The dough will be sticky.
Knead the dough with the dough hook attachment for 7-8 minutes
Use a separate large bowl and coat it with olive oil. Lightly coat the dough with olive oil as well.
Add it in the bowl, cover with cling film and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Press the dough down so it decreases in size
Cover it with cling film, and leave overnight in the fridge.
For chicken nuggets:
Preheat oven at 350F/170C
Wash chicken breast and cut into bite size pieces, then pat dry
Line a baking sheet with baking paper
In a bowl add the breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper and paprika
In a separate bowl whisk the egg whites with a fork until frothy
Dip each chicken piece in the egg white mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture and place on baking sheet
Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Remember to flip them over halfway through so that they’re baked evenly. When ready, let them cool and set aside
For pizza:
Preheat oven at 425F/220C
Line a baking sheet with baking paper
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface with your hands, into a thin rectangular shape. Then transfer to baking sheet
Use a spoon to spread the tomato paste
Add the shredded mozzarella cheese, chicken nuggets, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves. Sprinkle the oregano and bake for 10 minutes
Remove from oven, add burrata cheese, drizzle olive oil and enjoy!
