Grilled Buttermilk Chicken Kebabs
Grilled buttermilk chicken kabobs are about to become your go-to protein for BBQs, summer parties, and even a casual weeknight at home.

Servings: 4 servings
- 6 chicken thighs cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- Other required item: 8 wooden or metal skewers
Place chicken thighs, kosher salt, and buttermilk in a resealable bag. Massage to evenly coat chicken and refrigerate at least 6 hours or up to overnight.
If using wooden skewers, soak in a pan of water for 30 minutes prior to grilling.
Rub the grill grate with vegetable oil and preheat to medium-high.
Thread about 3 pieces of chicken securely onto each skewer.
Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through.
