This Crockpot Chicken Marsala recipe is a deliciously creamy chicken and mushroom dinner!
Fully coat the chicken thighs in flour.
Cook the floured chicken breasts in a skillet until just browned.
Deglaze the pan with marsala wine and allow to simmer until cooked down just a bit. Place the chicken in a crockpot.
Add to the crockpot onion, mushrooms, chicken broth, the cooked marsala wine, and spices. Cook.
Remove the chicken and set aside. Add a slurry of cornstarch and water to the sauce to thicken. Allow to cook.
Stir in heavy cream. Add the chicken back to the sauce and keep warm until ready to serve. Enjoy!
