Chicken Tikka Masala
Chicken tikka masala is one of the most popular Indian dishes, and for good reason. How can anyone not love this explosion of spices.
Slice chicken breasts into bite sizes pieces and add to a mixing bowl.
Season the chicken with garam masala, cumin, tumeric, garlic powder, ginger, and chili powder. Stir in buttermilk.
Cover and allow to marinate in the fridge.
Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet and then set aside.
In the same skillet, heat butter and saute onion. Add tomato sauce and lime juice and allow to simmer. Stir in the reserved marinade.
Add in the chicken pieces and stir in heavy cream. Allow to simmer and thicken. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro. Serve over rice!
