Soy Honey Glazed Chicken Wings are here just in time for game day! These baked chicken wings are tender, juicy, and tossed in the very best soy sauce and honey glaze.
Why we love this Soy Honey Baked Wing Recipe
Last time I made these wings for game day, they disappeared before halftime. Check out what makes them so popular:
- Baked: I always prefer baking wings rather than frying. It’s obviously a healthier method to cook the wings, but I also like that it’s hands off and there’s a lot less clean up! The chicken is cooked perfectly and remains juicy.
- Flavorful: Oh yes. The sticky sweet Asian glaze is absolutely finger licking good! Salty, sweet, and seriously addictive.
- Crispy: Once you taste how crispy these wings turn out, you’ll never crave fried wings again.
Are soy honey chicken wings spicy?
There are some crushed red pepper flakes in the mix, but they’re tamed by the sweet honey and salty soy sauce. For more heat, double the red pepper flakes and toss in a chopped red chili.

How to Store and Reheat
Once cooled to room temperature, you can store leftover Asian chicken wings in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. For the best results, I recommend using the air fryer or oven to reheat the wings.
Chicken is fully cooked and safe to eat once the meat reaches 165°F. This goes for all cuts of chicken, not just the wings.
Brushing egg whites on the wings helps the seasonings stay put. Also, the egg whites crisp up the wings without having to bread them or fry them!
